This eCommerce extravaganza is a lively occasion of learning, sharing best practice and hearing about new and exciting things in store for the future of Magento. It’s also a chance to mingle with likeminded developers and share tips and tricks and generally feel all warm and fuzzy about the things we have in common – a passion for great websites and an eye for fantastic design.
As with all major tech related conferences, we’ll be keeping a beady eye on the hash tag #MagentoLiveUK for the event throughout the day with our new and improved Full English Twitter account and will be sharing the juicy bits of Magento Live with you.
We’ll also be able to share pearls of wisdom from well-respected industry connections such as Paypal and DotMailer about how their brands complement the Magento user experience both for website owners and website users.
So, why do we spend our time following such things, why don’t we just code all day? Well much as we love our jobs as Magento developers, we think it’s really important to take a break every now and again, to reflect on what we’ve achieved, where we’re going and how we compare in the marketplace. By immersing ourselves for a day in a world of experts, Magento Mavericks, Veterans and Newbies, we’ll be able to see just what it is that we can improve upon, try to do slightly differently and confirm what we’re doing well – and all this means a much slicker and better informed service for you, our customer.
One of the things we’re keen to hear about this time around is improvements to the eBay and Magento marriage which can help your buyers and your administrators enjoy a seamless shopping experience no matter which platform they find you on. Let’s not forget the amazing Facebook integration tool either – which makes selling from Facebook simple. They’ll be more about building a brand across the range of platforms in the conference.
So, keep an eye on our Twitter account, stay tuned in to our blog and most importantly stay in touch with us if you’re keen to learn more about Magento. If you’ve been thinking about a Magento site for a long time but just can’t find the right Community development team, then you can stop looking now as here we are, and as of tomorrow we’ll have some new found Magento knowledge thanks to Magento Live.
